The hostel has a great location, near the beach and the cathedral. There are many vegetarian restaurants within walking distance. the staff is warm and welcoming, and the breakfast is great. the rooms have amenities such as air conditioning, comfortable beds, and nice bathrooms.
The rooms can be noisy due to their location above the living room and chill out area.

I recently stayed at a new hostel in the very center of Santa Marta and had an amazing experience. The 10-bed dorm had huge beds that could fit two people, with curtains for privacy. The beds were independent, so there was no shaking and it felt like a private room. Each bed had a light, electricity plugs, and a niche in the wall for your essentials. The lockers were massive and they stored our backpacks for free. The hostel had a quiet atmosphere, which was perfect for a good night's sleep, but still had common areas to meet other travelers. Highly recommended!
Would recommend this hotel.

I had a really comfortable stay at a quiet hostel with great amenities. The beds were spacious and had curtains for added privacy. The air conditioning in the room made for a pleasant sleep. The breakfast served was delicious, with pancakes, fruit, and a side of tomato and avocado. the atmosphere was chill, the location was convenient, and the staff were hospitable and attentive.
Nothing to complain about at all. 👍

We had a fantastic stay at the hostel in the heart of old town. The location was excellent, just a few blocks from the beach and the Cathedral. We were impressed with the comfortable beds, secure lockers, and nice bathroom in our four-man female dorm. The atmosphere was great, and the international staff were friendly and always willing to help. The hostel also offered a delicious vegan breakfast and the option to book bus tours to Cartagena. it was an excellent place to relax, chill, and make new friends.
No negatives from this place 😊

I had a superb stay at a chic and stylish hostel in a great location. The staff were friendly and English-speaking. The breakfast options were delicious. Although the wifi in the rooms was garbage, the connection in the community rooms was fine. I highly recommend this hotel.

I loved the superior interior yard with various plants, it really gave me a sense of being in touch with nature. The addition of the cat was a nice touch as well. The terrace was also great, and I was thrilled to find out that they had yoga mats available. The beds were super comfortable and clean, with privacy curtains and individual lights. The breakfasts were delicious, and I was particularly happy to find vegetarian options. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the old town and within walking distance to the beach and Cathedral. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, and they had lots of information on tours and self-tours available. a great place to relax, chill, and make friends.
Felt like visiting family, nothing to complain about.

Comfy beds and clean bathrooms were the best aspects of my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty. The location was ideal for exploring the city and it was a short walk to the bus station and historical center. Plus, the air conditioning worked well and was much needed in the hot weather.
That the communal bathroom floor was quite slippery when wet. It would have been helpful to have a mat by the door to absorb water and prevent accidents.

I had a great experience at a hostel in Santa Marta. the atmosphere was chill and the staff was very friendly and hospitable. the beds were comfortable and the dorm rooms were spacious and airy. the breakfast options were delicious, with a choice between eggs with toast, fruit and veggies, or a bowl of granola, fruit, and yogurt. I was also impressed with the hostel's commitment to providing upgraded facilities for digital nomads. Cons: Nothing to be said.

The hostel has a good location, making it convenient for exploring the city. Several reviews mention its proximity to various attractions and activities. the hostel offers lots of information about the area, providing guests with insider tips for Santa Marta.
One negative aspect mentioned in a review is the unreliable WiFi in the rooms. While the community areas have a decent connection, the WiFi in the rooms is described as actual garbage, with frequent disconnections and zero connection at times.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
